Shabu Shabu

Picture with Wendy.
==============================================

Yesterday was dinner with my peeps.
My peeps are Wendy, See Wai, Soo Yang and See Wai's Bro, Andy..
Location: Shabu Shabu, somewhere at Puchong.. opposite Giant.

Shabu Shabu is a buffet style steamboat.
Pretty interesting concept.

Shabu shabu is different from Yuen Restaurant.
They serve PORK here.

We started our trip there at 6.30 pm.
See Wai and her brother were the navigators for the day.
Andy was excellent.
See Wai was the faulty compass.

On the way, we were suppose to do a left turning at an old building.
See Wai said that we should go straight.
On the other hand, Andy said turn left.
Wendy took See Wai's advice and went ahead.

That decision costs us plenty of lost time.
We ended up lost and pretty confused.
On top of that, we were all hungry with growling stomaches.

We tried all possible ways to find our direction.
From observing signboards to asking directions.

Finally, we found our way thanks to a friendly phone shop worker.

10 minutes later, we approached the green Giant, shining like a beacon of hope from afar.
Thankfully, we found parking space and seats were available.

Without further ado, we started our feast like wild dogs.

The deco was interesting and the concept was creative.
Food is passed to us through conveyor belts.
Each person has and individual boiling soup to cook their food.
Slurpees are available.
Although the seafood are not in many variety, there are various food stuffs such as fried yam, sausages and octopus.

See Wai seacrhing for 'gold' in the pot luck.

kah Yern was with us that day, sitting quietly at the corner eventhough she is miles away.

Phone calls does not deter me from eating.

It was simply scumptious.
The red slices are the pork slices available.

Soo Yang eating eating with gusto.

Wanton are also available.
Magnificent food haven.

Vampric See Wai.
Thrist for more.

The food stack was getting higher and higher.

Wendy and See Wai's expression before we got lost.

Dinner was simply filling.
We just can't stop eating.
When we finally did, nothing can move us.

We sat there chatting.
Waiting for the food to digest.

Finally we left the place.
Keng Fai asked us of we wanted to go for Left 4 Dead.
Obvious yes.

First, we went to change back to Wendy's house because we are going there using Soo Yang's Viva.

When we arrived there, Keith, keng Fai, Marvin, Mark, and Wei Han were already there.
We started playing.
It was addicting.

I went home at 12.20.
Tired and full.

Pictures grabbed from Wendy :)
