On The 5th Day Of CNY..... What happened?

Lion Dance At Mid Valley.
Location: Radioactive, Ruffege

Look properly and you can see the lion's arse
=================================

Well, it has been long since I last blog.
As you can see, it is Chinese New Year.
Red Lanterns.
Lion Dance.
Dragon Dance.
Incense burning day and night.
Ang Pows everywhere.
Food and tidbits.
Snacks and munchies.

What is more obvious than the mentioned symptoms.

Here is a recap on my CNY.

Day 1

Went for a gathering at my aunt's house.
More of a reunion actually.
Excluding my aunt at France and my uncle at Sabah.

And I baked a cake.
Just to lagak a bit larh.
(Larh is a must in a Malaysian's daily vocabulary)

The cake was good (I guess).
Choc as usual.
Somewhat like a sponge cake.

Okae.
Then we had the other usual delicacies.

After the dinner, we watched CJ7 which was screened a year before.

The movie was fun when you watched it for the first time, but the second time I watched it, CJ7 was pretty lame.
Guess it was a love at first sight.

Playtime was next.
My brothers and me played dai di and bluff with my cousins.

End of day one.

Day 2.

Stayed at home.
Sleeping
Neighbors came for a short visit.

Noon nap.

Night, my aunts came for a visit.
Went out for supper at Ipoh Old Town Kopitiam.

I ordered Asam Laksa and a Twin Shake.

Bad Choice.

When I went home, I began to feel a little heaty.
Drowned a few gallon of water.
Still heaty.
And my stomach began to dance.
I mean seriously.
Dancing.
Whoa.

Taking no chances, I went to sleep.

3.20 am.

Woke up.
Have not been sleeping for the past 2 hours.
Tossing and turning.
Man, I was shivering.
Feverish shivering.
Cold sweat.

The bed groaned and so did my bones.
My joints ache.
Any doctors awake at this hours probably is a serial killer or something.

Went through the entire fridge to find the friggin fever med.
Pop one in.
Drown a cup of water.
Went to sleep.

Sleepless night went by.

Day 3

Woke up at 7.20 with a severe severe headache and fever.
Went to toilet with a full bladder.
Pale and lifeless.
I hung over the throne of comfort.
Any second now.
2
1

I purged for the first time.
Wasn't good.

Second time.
Last nights dinner went down the drain... undigested.

Went back to bed.
Woke up at 11.20am.
Dad wanted to renew something at Klang.
Bak Kut Teh.
That perked me up.
Groggy, sickly, lifeless.
I dragged my way into Elantra and went to Klang.
For Bak Kut Teh!!

Passes by Valarie's old school.

Bad news.
After sacrificing my energy to Klang, the shop was closed.
Well, we will sit for the second best.
Truth to be told, the second one was quite good actually.

We reached home at 2 something.

At 4, we went to the Denise's house for dinner.

Uncle Steve was there with his daughters, Annabelle, Catherine and Jojo.
Denise has three sis, Leslie, Lydia and Christine.

The dinner was a feast.
Spagetti, vege dips and apple crumble for dessert.
Could a decent person like me ask for anything better?

After dinner, we played games.
Taboo, mafia, empire, and boggler.
Fun fun fun.

Went back at 9.

Night.
Stomach was dancing again.
Took some poh chai yun.
Gulp in some water.

10 minutes later...

I rushed to the toilet and puked again.
And again.
And again.
And for the last time.
4 times total.

I was seriuosly dehydrated.
Drank some water and slept on the couch.
Just in case I have to rush to the loo again.

Day 4
Woke up at 6.30.
Went back upstairs to sleep.

Dad woke me up at 7.
Said something about Nottingham but I can barely hear after the puking incident.
Told him I was sick and slept again.
Woke up at 11.30.

Skipped lunch.
Did nothing.

Night.
Went to aunt's house.
Ate some snacks and muchies.
Enjoyed watching darts competition.
Went home.
Slept peacefully for the first time after 2 days.

Day 5
Woke up at 11.
Dad say that we are going out for movie.

What movie?
Not decided yet.
Venue?
MV.

INKHEART was our choice.
Bedtime story was a big no no after not so good reviews.
I watched Lycans already so it was out too.

Inkheart was pretty good.
In fact, it was exciting for me.

Well, tomorrow i will be going for a swim at the club with my brethrens.

Peace

Furanose and Fogging.

The fog starts again.
The recent rage of aedes and dengue caused the local community
call for the fogging to be done at my housing area.
One can enjoy the sweet scent of joy as they wandered across the area,
fogging and spraying the pesticides.

The war just started.

Receeding
Clearing

Almost

Clear blue sky again :)
*************************************
Can't really blog today because of the extreme weather. (Excuses, excuses)
Nonetheless, I am going to update you guys on my resolutions.
Up till now, I have not been able to even keep one of it.
What is the purpose of this crap shit.

I have been sleeping late as usual.
I woke up at 1 today.

Yada,yada,yada.

Okae, tomorrow is my last paper for this semester.
Biology.
It does not sound as haunting as it seems.
In fact, Biology is fun.
And exciting.. to a few.

Well, wish me luck ya.
I am not asking much of you people.
Alright, peace to the world.

ps: Do play mafia wars and rock legends on Facebook :) add me!!

The Final Job.

Dusk.

Pathway.
*******************************************
Warning: This is a frigging long blog post. Skip it if you like....

The title of this blog does not meant to induce any dirty significance.
The reason I am blogging this is because I will be taking the last paper for the second semester.
Simplified version: I will be free after this paper.

Oh, I am going to recap what happened to me yesterday.
Yesterday was 12 January 2009.
The day of my Business Mathematics.

Guess what, I totally forgotten that I have my paper today.
I woke up at 9 morning and had my breakfast.
I went online for 20 minutes when my cell rang.
Carmen.
I was surprised that she texted me.
A few days ago, I promised her that I will go early to uni to study.
WHICH I THOUGHT WAS TOMORROW.
Well, I opened the message:
You still at home?
WHOA!!
I was totally shocked by that.
I called her and she told me that today is our maths paper.

I rushed to have my shower and the next secong racing towards the bus stop.
Seconds felt like minutes as I stood there waiting.
Mind you, my uni is 2 hours travelling time if you are lucky.
My paper starts at 1.30.
The bus from Kajang station to my uni leaves at 11.15 morning.
That means I have 1 1/2 hours to reach Kajang.

And that stupid bus driver is not helping either.
I was waiting there for 20 minutes before I can see the bonnet.
While I was travelling on the bus, I hoped that the bus does not break down or something.
(Mind you again that these things do happen at critical times.)

Finally I reached Mid Valley station safe and intact.
Whew that was a smooth ride.
There is still 1 hour to spare.

The next train to Kajang was suppose to arrive at 10.13.
It was 10.12.
Hmm, coming soon!!

10 minutes later.....

The train is definitely late.
I MEAN SERIOUSLY!!!
I am there, carrying my bag with Chemistry and Math notes and my ridiculously heavy file.
Prespire dripping from my fore head.
Anxiously standing at the ledge, scuntinizing at the distance, praying that the shadowy bulk at the distance could be the train.

10.20.
10.30.

Suddenly, the P.A announced that the train will be arriving at approx 7 minutes.
And it did.
(I guess 7 really is a lucky number, huh..)

The train master is a newbie, I think.
He terlanjur when he was stopping at the station.
I have to walk a distance to get into the coach.
 10.30 + 30 minutes= 11 morning.
I can make it.
I could make it.
I hope....

I reached the station at 11 morning and the bus was waiting there.
Patiently.
Her shining chasis was waiting at the horizon.
My princess in shining amour.

I fumbled to retrieve my bus tickets.
Then I leapt into the carriage of comfort.

Arriving, I went for luch as usual.
Then I got this amazing piece of news.
Some lucky bastards got to do the past year's Chemistry paper.
And that  exact paper was exactly like the one that came out for my Chemistry test.
Screw them!!

The day ended so so with a friggin hot weather.
Went home completely exhausted.

Accomplishment of the day:
Started playing Mafia Wars on Facebook.
Did ok-ed on Maths Paper.
Brought my exam docket.
Woke up at 9 am.
Did the triathlete marathon.

A perfect knot for the day, don't you think so.
Peace.

Luna

11th January 2008.
Luna made her presence felt by the community.
The beams were bright and beautiful.
The roof slabs were glowing admist the darkness.

The craters on the face only adds to her beauty.
Pale but strong.
Luminous and passionate.

This picture was taken by my brothers cell
(Model: SGH-D900)

(Click on the licture for a clearer view)
The blood lust moon.
This picture was taken by my father.
Credits to him.
This picture was taken using my father's camera.
(Model: Canon EOS-450D)

(Click on the picture for a cleare view)
The glowing globe that hung on heaven's door.

Alright, 2nd post for today.
Peace.

Taxi Talks

Today was friggin weird.
Being a good boy, I went to church.
Since pops cannot fetch me and due to the non-existant driving license, my brother and me was left with two options:

Option 1
Take the rapid bus and subsequently take the taxi.

Option 2
The taxi.

Being a GOOD and SANE boy, the immediate response should be...
Take the TAXI!!.

Well, we flagged down the taxi at Shell and took off.
The taxi driver was a middle age man who listens to Buddhist chanting songs.
I think his name was Low something something Law....

Well, didyou ever felt the ackwardness when the driver starts to
strike up a conversation with you.

Well, I took out my cell and the driver was like:

Driver: Is that your phone?
Me: Yeah...
Driver: How often do you need to charge your phone?
Me: Erm... urm.... 4 days once?
Driver: Oh, I see...

What the frickin hell is wrong with my phone...
Every phone does that...
The conversation continues...

Driver: What is the brand of your phone?
Me: Samsung.
Driver: Oh, mine is Soni Elikson. (This is how the driver pronounced Sony Ericsson)

So what it is a Sony Ericsson. Like the hell I care.

The journey continued with other conversations which I can barely hear as
I was listening to my iPod.

Suddenly, I heard my brothers laughing.
Well, I turned to the driver and I saw that he was telling some sort of joke.(Lame joke, I guess)
Trying not to be a spoilsport, I mustered my fakest laugh you have ever heard in your entire life.

Driver:...........(Telling joke)
Me: Erm...hehehehe?

I was relieved that we arrived at our destination (First Baptist Church, Petaling Jaya).
Surprisingly, the fare was frigging cheap. (This includes a phone harrassment and a couple of lame jokes)

Tambang teksi dari Kuchai Jaya hingga ke Petaling Jaya.
RM 5 sahaja!!

Alright folks, back to my maths.
Peace to Israel!!

Two Hits to Homerun

Yesterday's snapshot of the near midnight sky...
********************************************
This is the last two friggin hits before I get to taste the sweet
SEMESTER BREAK.
But as usual, nothing comes free.
I have to sit here, daily, studying my subjects.
Constantly distracted by the laptop screen, screaming for attention.
The electronic clock ticks away second by second, minute by minute, till the
24 hours of my daily life passes by.
Two more papers, Maths and Biology.
Chemistry has been hell on earth.
Usaha tangga kejayaan.
Who the heck created that!!
Sikit sikit, lama lama jadi bukit.
I understand the divine purpose of that is to provide motivation and inspiration, but
all that hype only gave me headache and mimpi buruk of me failing.

Damn those bloody jakuns.
Do I have to spend my entire time ranting to my screen?

For those at The University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus, Good Luck in your Finals.
Selamat Berjaya.
Jia You......

Alright, Peace!!
Remember Gaza.!!

Random Is My Middle Name

Today passed quite uneventfully, except for some reading up on my subjects and lazing around.
One thing for sure, I cannot study during the day.
My brain is not adept to function well in the presence of photons.
Well, I decided to upload some random pictures I took last year which I thought was
'nice'....

King Of Poker with his winning hand...

The Siamese Temple at Jalan Gasing

Suria Waktu Malam

Aphrodite Fontana Amorosa...Kononnye je...
Looks beautiful though..

Alright, gotta go now.
And please pray about the conflict and war at Gaza.

Of Chemistry and Boredom

I am so bored studying.
Can anyone cure this boredom?
I took some pictures from my house during the after rain sunset.
Pretty.....Lame
The coloured cloud from the above picture looks like a chic hatching from the egg.
Such abstract.
Nescafe to start the day.
Eventhough I had one earlier.

Study First.
I have my Chemistry paper today and it was Hell!!
The paper was really tough for me!!
Like real tough!!
That really wasted my efforts on the subject.

Spent my yesterday and the day before and the day before before, screwing up my life by just staring at the notes, trying to memorize the essence of the subject.
And what I am about to get is a F.lunk for Chemistry.
Nonetheless, I caught some incredible pictures of my 'friends' studying their heads off.

Angel studying. (Not Chemistry though. It was some Molecular Eccentric Geometrapezermal Paper)... Interesting!!

So In!!
Sherrie: I cant undertand this lar!!! Screw you, Mr Chiang!! OMG, I just used profanity.
I will go into 10 years seclusion. I won't even have wet dreams anymore!!
The whatever day.
No more nice sunsets today...:(

Fog And Rain

Gated.

Since the recent sapt of dengue, the local authority decided to fog my 'taman'.
OMG, the smell was so terrible.
Totally messed up with my appetite.
But I agree that the dengue has been on the rise recently.
My two lecturers and a friend at university caught that penyakit.
*************************************************

Still, I captured some amazing pictures today.
Thes are some of the snapshots I took today after the rain.

I took this from a motorbike's rear mirror.

Golden sunset.

Back To Square One

My brother donning his school uniform during lunch.
(Chinese hawker center, Soon Lei Restaurant)
*****************************************************
Guess what!!
Today the kids are going back to school after their long vacation.
Damn, I miss those days when I have to trudge to school on a cold morning.

Oh, by the way, my younger brother Daniel is now in Form 3 this year.
Yes, he is attending the morning school session.
Well, I am suppose to pick him up after school but I
OVERSLEPT.
I woke up at 1.30 pm when my dad came back.

Scenario.

Dad: Where is Long (my brother's nickname) ?
Me: Huh (still groggy)
Dad: You have not pick him up?
Me: Oh!

Know what, sometimes I feel a little guilty for troubling my dad.
It is not that I am trying not to, but it is unavoidable.
I am so lazy!!
Damn, I can sleep until goodness know when!!

Alright folks, I will keep you all updated.
Peace!!

Asians

Aren't you glad to be an Asian.
I mean, we make the best food in the world.
We have the most diverse cultures in the world.

Yet, some people still cannot grasp the fact that
Asians are not slanty eyed, short and skinny.
In fact, most people think that Asians are Chinese.
What a ridiculous bullshit.

Refresher
Asian is a diverse population living in the Asia continent.
This mean that anyone born in any of the countries in Asia is an
Asian.
You can be an Indian, Chinese, Viet, Pinoy or Malay and you are still an
Asian.

What most weterners lack is the open minded view of us Asians.
Most of the time, we Asians are seen as underdogs which shouldbe treated in a lower caste compared to them.
In their point of view,
they are the gods and we are their servants.

A long time ago, the African Americans were treated the same way as the Asians.
There was the Aparteid which practically sterotyped the blacks.
The Arican American were stepped on and spat on.

Scenario.
There was this situation which I read about where the blacks had to give up their seats in a bus is there is a white (American) standing.
What a piece of fucking bullshit is this.

It was later on when Afrcan American heroes emerged and
fought for their rights and freedom.

Today, we see the effects and consequences.
We have the first Black president after goodness know how long.
This shows that people can change if they are given the chance.

Okie, I spent too much time blogging now.
Back to my studies.
Peace!

Procastination Is Me 2

Two love birds sitting on the wires in the middle oof
the rain.
(Outside my house)

Looming dark clouds.
Looks so serene and peaceful.

*****************************************************
Oh my, the third day of New Year and I am back to my study table.
As you can see, my table is really messy with the notes and stuff.
Wow, I really slacked during the study week.
I practically did nothing and partied all day

Biology and Chemistry notes.
Stack after stack.

Interestingggzzzzzz........
Makes me wanna sleep by just looking at the sterile white papers.

You guys understand any of this??

Isobutyl.
What the heck??

I really should go back to my studying now.
The sky is rainy the whole day.
It is kinda cool and chilly.
Wanna go out but the exams round the corner simply does not allow me to do so.
Damn.

Yes, yes and yes!!!

Dinner at Dragon-i

An interesting pot I found at ACE Hardwares
***************************************************************

Yes Man was definitely a yes from me!!

*********************************************************************

I watched Yes Man at Mid Valley GSC on a New Year.
Luckily, we booked the ticket earlier because the crowd queing up was simply
AMAZING!!
They are like ants going after sugar.
(Simple paradox of the situation)

After getting the tickets, there was still 1 hour to kill.
Without wasting any time, we went window shopping.
I stopped by at Rasphody Music shop and saw this Mat Salleh rocking with this
ultra cool
electric drum.
I was in awe watching him playing the set with amazing precision and cool.

I wa like a total idiot standing outside the window, admiring the whole scene.
My dad went to the Canon shop to find lens accessories for his camera.
Both my brothers loitered around doing nothing.

30  minutes before the movies started, I stomach was growling like a wild bitch.
Alright, time to grab something to eat.

Stomach: Growl, growl!!
Me: Ah, a bread will solve that.

(Bread meets gastric juices and got devoured)

We then went to the cineplex.
The show started and I was laughing the entire show.

Review
The story is pretty simple. Carl (Jim Carrey) is a junior accountant whose favourite word is "NO".
His wife ditched him for a 'better' person and his working life is dull and mundane.
One day, his long-tim-no-see friend, Norman came and visit him.
He told Carl to go for this "YES" seminar thingy which was claimed to be able to change people's lives.
Initially, Carl was reluctant to go.
He then decided to try it out since he has nothing to lose.
At the seminar, he made a so-called covenant with Terence, the founder of the "YES"seminar.
The covenant states that Carl must say yes to every plea from the people around him.
After that incident, Carl found his love of his life, a persian lover, a sexual experience from a, aged granma called Tillie and accused of being a terrorist.
This movie is worth the bucks as the recent "comedy" movies turned out pretty lame actually.

Throughout the movei, some jakuns at the lower seats gave some catcalls and hoots.
(That totally pisses me off)

After a while, my stomach started giving me signs of hunger and starvation.
(Hmm, can anyone give me any diet tips on how to suppress hunger effectively?)

The show ended around 8.30 p.m and we went for dinner at
Dragon-i.
I ordered this Szechuan style La Mian with pork chops.
Emm, scrumptious-ly delicious.

My dad ordered the famous
Siu Long Pao.
This pao is a dumpling with soup in it.
When a person bites into the pao, the juices starts to flow into
one's mouth, enabling them to savour the sweetness of the meat and the freshness of the soup.
 Wow!!

We shopped at Guardians for a while and went home.
That ties a perfect knot for my
2009 New Year celebrations.

Now back to my studies.
Peace to you all..
